45th Annual Tam Hill
Climb - Join us for the last road race of the 2005 racing
season*, the Mt. Tamalpais Hill Climb,
on Saturday, September 17, 2005. This annual race, in its 45th year,
is one of the oldest cycling events on the west coast, and gives
everyone a great test of their end of the year climbing legs. As
before, we offer a public race alongside the USCF category races,
so everyone has a chance to race. We're repeating our offer
of a $1,000 prize for breaking the course record - you'll need
to beat Justin England's time from 2004. New for this year is
a special $50 prize to any woman who breaks the 50 minute mark for
the course (courtesy of our sponsor Pelican Harbor Marina in Sausalito).
Our race page contains detailed information including links to interactive
maps and topos...good luck with your race preparations, and see
you on the 17th.
Thanks to our 2005 Sponsors: Hill & Co.
(Title Sponsor), Poggio, Pelican Harbor Marina, A Bicycle Odyssey,
and Interloc Racing Designs.
